Here’s a fun and easy way for you to stay inspired by reading stories about young women like yourself, posting questions, and using a calendar countdown for your upcoming appointments.

What is it?

Now I Know is a smartphone app for iOS and Android. It empowers young women to stay focused on completing the 3 dose vaccine series for HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) and staying on track with other cervical cancer prevention practices. New stories are highlighted 2 times per week over 6 months and users can post questions and responses. Experts monitor the site and can post responses as well. There is also a vaccine tracker with a calendar countdown and reminders. This app can also be used together with the app which provides reliable personalized information on numerous health issues and resources to keep track of prevention tasks for yourself and the ones you love.

Who is it for?

Now I Know was designed for young women ages 18-26 to use during the 6 months after getting the 1st dose of the HPV vaccine. It was developed at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Nursing by a research team in collaboration with advisory boards consisting of young women app users and providers.
